Tell MeWell, i don't know why i wrote this..nor why i kept it. it's kinda sucky in my opinion, but....other's tell me that it is good. now i don't know what to believe.
I've spent so many years,
Shed so many tears.
I've begged you to come back,
You left me in the doom.
You turned your back on me,
You left me to care for this wound,
This hole that sears my heart,
And all I could think was that you'd be back soon.
Tell me why I lost you,
Tell me why you lied,
Tell me that you loved me,
Or at least that you tried.
We've spent so many years apart,
And never have I forgotten what we had.
Then you left me that day,
And now I regret every laugh,
Every kiss, every tear we've shared.
Did they mean nothing?

I pledged my life to you,
I gave my life to save you,
I threw away my hopes and dreams,
And this is what I get?

I agree. Not your best work. I may not be one to judge though. There aren't many things in this world I am flat out incapable of doing, but poetry is one of them. I can't line dance either.

Regardless of these boobs saying it's not that great, I like it.
It may just be that I like poetry, but then again... I don't know.
But I like it. Good job.

hey poetry is up to a personal taste so even if someone came in and said they didn't like it the're not wrong, being mean, or a boob, its a personal prefrence.

True dat. I personally enjoy everything Kayko posts. All her work has also fascinated me, especially her artwork.
Speaking of that, I still have two paintings from you, Kayko. If I remember where they're at, I might just hang them!
