NamelessOkay, so this poem came about when I was in English and I had to write a poem for a test. I couldn't think of anything, so I decided to copy one I'd already written (mainly because my muses were being mean to me and didn't want to help T.T). Problem: I couldn't remember anything I had already written. So! I started to think of On A Bird's Wings, but I couldn't think of all of it, so this started instead. And I still think it ends rather suddenly because it's in sonnet form, but I've been told differently, so...I don't really know. Also, if any of you can think of a good title for it, I would be happy to hear it!
Sometimes I wish I could fly away,
Just leave behind this eternal brawl,
I wish I could spread my wings and forget this day,
In a world where all we can do is crawl.
Sometimes I feel just like a ghost,
A hollow shell drifting aimlessly by,
My love forever seeking a host,
My tongue cut out to prevent a forlorn cry.
But then one day, the clouds will part,
And the moon will release her silvery glow,
Stealing my breath and eternal heart,
While atop her head lies a golden halo.
And now I can know that forever my love
Will fly on the wings of a snow white dove.

Sadly, though, I'm not so good with titles, or else I'd help you out. Why do you think I use the same character for every RP I do? lolz
