Locke's WorksAlright, I'll post up some of the art I've done and scanned. It's all black-and-white, since I can't do color without killing the picture. Here are my works, as of now:

Okay, what I have been noticing in all of them is that the legs are just a tad too short. A good rule of thumb is that, for most people, the legs(including feet) will be as long as the torso(including the head and neck), i.e. the waist should cut the body into two equal pieces. The two segments of the leg, the thigh and calf, should be equal in length as well.
Also, in some of them, I noticed the arms were either too long, or too short. The hand, when the arm is held straight to the body and the hand relaxed, should reach to about the middle of the thigh, though, sometimes it is lower or higher depending on species, sex, attributes, etc.
What I find always helps me to keep the anatomy correct, is to draw out the full body before adding clothes. However, you could also try the Matchstick method, the Pillow Method, or even make up your own, whatever is easiest.
^.^; I hope I don't offend or sound like a know-it-all, I really don't mean to if I do...

No, no, no! I always knew that leg length was one of my issues- and I appreciate constructive criticism.

You don't. Frankly, proportion is one of the main challenges to my works. I'm still working to improve, though.

Lots of people can copy-draw. It takes real talent to make an original. I'm still fine-tuning mine, unfortunately. But I am getting better- I'll have to get some of my more recent works scanned.

lol copy drawing is still a talent, but i should have known you wouldn't appreciate it.

I'm okay with copy-drawing, so long as you use it to learn to draw your own later on. And that you don't say you were the one to draw the pic...that always gets on my nerves...

I just like to pick on Mass, lol!
I copy stuff too, I just don't like people who do nothing but copy-draw. I personally think that one should copy to develop techniques, but not to imitate.
Unless the original was just that awesome.
