As the title says, I'm gonna give this a try. It's gonna be open-ended for now, but as things progress, I will come up with some sort of plot, and, to keep things interesting, I will not tell you what it is (unless I need the help of another member to pull it off, in which case I will make sure they don't leak info...). There will be fairly strict rules to this RP, not because I am evil, but because in order for all of us to have a "fun RP experience", I can't have some of you people running about, mucking things up. They are as follows:
1.) This is a fairly fantasy-based RP. I would prefer that you use a non-human character, but if you don't want to go through the trouble of making one, you can use human. However, if you get attacked a lot by the higher-up species, i.e. Weres, Vamps, Demons, etc., don't come crying to me. Oh yeah, there's gonna be all manner of fictional beasties in this. And maybe even some fictional animals. Also, the world this will be taking place on is not Earth, but Earth-like(just for simplicity's sake). Most everything will be the same, just some different hierarchical statuses. I will elaborate on that later.
2.) Just because this is a fantasy doesn't mean you can run around God-moding. Use your common sense when you give your characters their powers. If it seems like overkill, it probably is, and the rest of us will not appreciate if you run around with powers like 'the ability to raise a thousand corpses from the dead', or 'tidal wave of darkness, water, or fire'. Now, if your character is a God of some sort (if you do this, don't make them a major one like Zeus or something. Only secondary and demi-gods will be allowed), try to focus their powers over one thing, such as the God of Water, Earth, Wind, etc. Failure to limit characters' power will result in you getting kicked out of the RP. I will not, I repeat, NOT tolerate it.
3.) NO NARUTO NINJAS! For the luff of Koren, there are four Naruto RPs started here. You can use ninjas, but only if they are real-life ninjas. If you don't know what qualifies as a real-life ninja, check out these sites:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja http://gojapan.about.com/cs/chuburegion4/a/ninja.htm
If you fail to follow this rule, it will result in immediate expulsion. Please, please, PLEASE follow this one. I can barely do Naruto as it is; I don't need him mucking this up for me....No offense to you Naruto fans. I just can't stand that show.
4.) Use the spell check. It's there for a reason. If you don't want to do that, then type the post in Word first. Just do something so that your posts are neat, readable, and grammatically correct. You don't have to be perfect, but TRY. You will have three chances to take this rule seriously. If you fail to follow it, I will begin to delete your posts until you decide to do it.
6.) Just because you know something about what is going to happen, that doesn't mean your character does too. For instance, if your character just meets someone for the first time, they shouldn't know that person's name even if you do. This, of course, does not apply to certain Gods, depending on the situation. If the God has been watching over said new person, then they can know.
7.) No random popping up in places. It takes time to get places, even if you use teleportation (which I would discourage using, as it has the potential to suck the fun out of the battle scene, death scene, or what have you). If you are far away from some major happening, then you cannot just somehow find you're way to said major happening. You may even miss it, and have to be "filled in" on the details of what happened by someone who was there. By this, I don't mean that the person that was asked has to repeat the entire epic post(or series of posts); you can just skip over that part. For example:
"Kayko rushed through the still smoldering gates of the city that had been attacked. She cringed as she looked at the bloodshed and fire, berating herself for being so late. She hadn't been able to save anyone. Stepping forward, she picked her way through the carnage, looking for survivors.
Finally, after hours of searching, she found a still breathing warrior. Taking his face in her hands, tears filled her eyes. "What happened here?" The warrior looked into her eyes and whispered out the whole bloody event. "We weren't prepared for the enemy army to be that large. They overcame us. I--" He choked, blood gurgling at the back of his throat. His death was at hand. "I'm sorry, Milady. We did what we could, but...It wasn't enough." He choked again, then grew limp in her hands. She laid her faithful soldier to rest and stood, her face loosing it's previous fear and sadness. She would get them back for this, that was certain. They would all pay."
Alright. Now that I feel like I've covered everything, we can start! If you have any further questions about..well, whatever you might have questions about, don't worry about PMing me, as I probably won't check it. Just ask by putting it before the post([question]), or just ask me now. I care not which you use. Also, if I seem like a nazi, I apologize. I just don't want this to head the same direction as Four Heightened Worlds and N4obody.
Dragonhawk
Character Basics
1. Full Name: Yukai Ureshii
2. Nicknames: Yukie-pookie, Yuki, Yu, Snowy
3. Age: 1600
4. Physical description: Height: Varies between 6'2" to a total of 16'0" in Blood Kyn form. 6'2" human. Several stories in bestial form.
5. Career: Author and artist
6. Hobbies: Healing, those listed above.
7. Education level: N/A
8. Family, friends, and love interests: Family consists of his Draconic/wolf father and Kyn mother. Two sons, Raen Kiretsu and Valyn Ureshii. Friends are Ryouken, Zaki, Ohka and Yuna.
(This Yuna has no affiliation with the Yuna from FFX or FFX-2}
9. Style of clothing, accessories: Not so much a style as what is needed to be worn. Accessories consist of feather earrings, and a dog choker with the Trinity Celtic Knot attached. Sometimes wears a spiked collar he recently bought.
10. Where do they live?: In a mountain cavern with his not-parents. They aren't his actual -parents-, but they consider themselves to be. Back-history on that which goes with his rebirth.
12. Abilities: The main one I'm going to list is that he is able to use True Magick, or what some may consider the works of the Magi or Wizard. This power is granted by the gods, and the character given such power must be born with it--it is not possible to learn.
This is not so much an ability as a skill given to the Blood Kyn at birth. If given a weapon, they immediately become proficient in its use, wielding it as it would take a student several years.
I'm not going to put down personality or history, since it takes away from learning about the character through their actions and them telling it to others as they wish. Much like a novella. Amazing how sparse a character sheet looks without history and personality thrown in...

I'll try, but if this damn thing flops, like every one OTHER than the Naruto RP, not my fault.
Name: Vishka
Age: Not truly known. He has long since forgotten his birthday, and seeing as how few in history knew him, there is no true record of his existence.
Height: Approximately 7 foot. No exact measurements known.
Weight: Approximately 200 lbs. Once again, no exact measurements known.
Gender: Male.
Appearance: He is a special type of demon. His hands have six fingers, as opposed to the normal five, each ending in sharp, wolf-like claws. Sharp protrusions made of bone extend from his elbows in a spike fashion. He has red eyes with black pupils. Instead of hair, bones grow from his head in a hair-like style, down to the middle of his back. Otherwise, what shows appears human from under a black traveler's cloak. Some reason is given to support the idea that Vishka has, or can grow, a tail.
Strengths/Weaknesses: A large sword carried on his back suggests skill with blades. However, demons are notorious for their bloodlust, and it is suggested that any wandering demon is simply searching for a new place to shed blood.
Weapons/Powers/Abilities: A large sword, believed to be carved from the tooth of a dragon or dragon-like demon, is carried on his back. His powers are said to be the abilities of reading auras, slight magicks (usually fire- or shadow- based, as with most demons), and the ability to turn fearful or mal-aligned auras into a form of insanity.
No history. Any questions?

[alright, i'm gonna post here just for the sake of posting....i dunno, maybe once it's started, people will join...? **sighs**]
It was raining...Again. It always seemed like it was this far north. Of course, it didn't help any that the sea was so close. Kayko shifted under a large tree, leaning her back against the coarse bark. She hated how she always managed to get herself caught out in the rain. Always. She stared across the cold wet plains to the mountains beyond. Just a few more days of traveling, and she would reach the city that lay on the other side of the border. Things would start looking up once she got there, or so she had been told. At least it wouldn't rain so much there. It lay to the Southwest, much farther from the sea and the cold than where she was coming from. Her shoulders dropped. She was so sick of the smell of saltwater. Then, just as if to spite her, the wind picked up, bringing with it the very scent she had been thinking of. "Of course." She sighed and pulled the thick wool cloak tighter around her slender frame. Once more she stared out across the dreary plain. If she were lucky, the rain would stop before night fell. Kayko snorted. If she were lucky.

(Before you read any farther, any observations my character makes will be made in the form of the thoughts he would be making. As we all know, thoughts aren't made in complete sentences, so shut up now.)
Vishka stopped. Clouds overhead looked to be heading farther south. Winds carried a strange scent, but one of even stranger familiarity. A demonic scent, to be sure. But what kind. Fur. Hidden appearance. A glamer
Vishka's nose was more sensitive than most others, for sure, but not enough to detect particular people from the crowd. Why a demon?
He headed southward, following the scent of demon and glamer. What is that smell?
Kayko Sagouro
[Hmmm, what do you guys think? Should we keep trying?]
Dragonhawk
{Personally? I think we should--just in case. You never know what may turn up, ja? As for not posting yet, apologies. Aron should know why I haven't been. *Cough*}
They were miserable. Both he and this strange being that had begun following him, though only in his head it seemed. When he asked a passer-by if they saw anything unusual about him, his human appearance casted by the glamour amulet he wore, they would simply shake their head and then offer him a meal. Of course, during those travels it decided to tell him that it called itself Dragonhawk, an unusual name for something that looked so much like himself in a fur-covered, draconic form.
Today, however, it appeared that he didn't want to be found in the rain as he constantly took shelter underneath trees and their ilk. Constantly. To the point that it annoyed him, seeing that he was the one being soaked down to his bones. "C'mon and face the water. It isn't that bad." He ducked his head as a human passed by.
"Easy for you to say," it murmured. "Do you know what it feels like to have your fur soaking wet?"
"Yes, I do." Sighing, he lifted his gaze and spotted a lone figure. She too was obviously not a fan of this endless wet. Was some large storm coming through?
"Don't talk to her, Yukai."
He twitched. "And why should I not? Or do you just get a bad feeling about her?" He was beginning to get irritated.
"Exactly that. Just let her be and continue on your way. You can just fly to the mountains to that place, anyway, since no one else takes this lone path."
"Then what do you call her--"
"Just move on and hope she doesn't pay attention."
Grounding his teeth, Yukai shook his head. "Fine, fine. Your feelings have always been right, anyway, so why not now? Bah."
Kayko Sagouro
[It would appear that we will all meet up very soon here...]
She had been wrong, or at least very unlucky. The rain had not stopped (it seemed it had only gotten heavier, in fact), and the sun was setting rather quickly. "Shit." She couldn't stay here. While suitable to provide shelter for the occasional passerby, a tree did not make a good camp.///Unless you're a squirrel.../// Kayko stood and surveyed the bleak horizon. She was loath to travel the now-muddy road all night, but it was quickly seeming to be her only choice. The wind picked up again, and with it came the faint sound of voices. Out here? She was surprise she was out here, much less anyone else. She turned to face the direction the voices had come from, and, sure enough, there they were. She pulled her cloak tighter around her, and pulled up her hood. Even thought they had most likely already seen her, she didn't want to take any chances. You never knew what kind of freaks you would run into out in the middle of nowhere. As they drew nearer, she allowed a hand to drift down to the dagger at her hip. Sure, she could have ignored them, but now that she knew they were there, she hated the idea of turning her back to them and simply allowing them to follow her for Gods know how long. Again the wind blew, landing a, rather large, rain drop directly between her eyes. ///Great. Stand here and watch while getting soaked, or ignore them and get my throat slit. What fun choices./// Right, choice.
Nerameshu
More moving. Forward, evermore. Rain began to fall a while ago, but fell more now. Move feet forward. Find familiar scent. Heavy rain, cloak completely soaked. Bare feet covered in mud, dry and wet mud.
Vegetation ahead. Big and small. Trees, mostly, and little of them. But shelter from the rain.
Scent is stronger here. New scent. Faint magic stench. Illusion, or mind affecting. Maybe even earth change. No, no earth manipulation. Definitely illusion or mind affecting.
Aura sense. One ahead, soure of familiar smell. Other smell farther to side. West? Strange look to aura. Hidden inner concious. Watch? Stay back.
Dragonhawk
{Ja. x-x Pardon all of the talking in my post. Its sort-of to give Kayko a reason to answer Yukai when he babels about asking the name of the city and such.}
As they began to get closer, he couldn't help but notice the change in the woman's tune. Not only did she raise the hood of her cloak, but she reached for something concealed at her hips. Being who he was, he knew what it more than likely was--and didn't exactly intend to come to harm. "You do know the people of this planet are USED to strange looking people, right?"
Yukai groaned. "Yes, I know. It just doesn't feel right without other Blood Kyn around for some reason."
"You feel like an outsider?"
"Naw, Sherlock!" He lowered his voice and sighed. "I just want to get back to Zenix. And from what I know and that fellow told us, a portal to the umpteenth dimension will be opening there soon enough."
"You do realize I heard."
"...I swear to the Gods, you are the most annoying thing to have ever begun following me around." Passing the woman, he became tempted to ask her what the name of the city was. However, the furred dragon seemed to have second thoughts to that and physically pushed him away. Stumbling briefly, Yukai grumbled under his breath. "I was just going to ask the name of the city."
"Bloody hell, you certainly are in a bad mood."
"Maybe because I have a strange entity stalking me? Also, you know, regular dragons weren't exactly made for the rain."
"But you're not a regular dragon. You're a Blood Kyn."
"Not the point!"
Kayko Sagouro
[Great post Nera. Seriously. I find that style rather...refreshing? Anywho....~
Yay! Time to make fun of Yukai for babbling on to himself! >:3]
No words, barely a glance. Odd. Usually they didn't do that. Of course, this one also seemed rather preoccupied with his conversation. Which he was having with himself. Nice; It had turned out to be a nutcase that was following her. No. There was now some one else. While she couldn't yet smell them, she knew some one was there. Far away. Watching, waiting. ///Waiting for what?/// She shook off the feeling and turned her attention back to the nutcase. Hadn't he said something about a city? There was only one on this road, it had to be the one she was going to. And, judging from the rate he was going, he might go insane before he ever got there. Not something she wanted on her conscience. Without turning, she spoke up. "Just which city are you looking for?"
[Wow. I didn't use her name once....I didn't know I could do that....]
Dragonhawk
{Rawr. I forgot what it was called -exactly-, but the style Nera is using was originally adopted in the late 1800's literature. Free thought? Free verse? Uhh... Learned about it in English class. T.T}

[Info but no post? I'm distapointed in you Yukie..T.T You've let me down! DOOOOOWWWWN!!]

(Stream of Conciousness. And it's been around for a long time. No one used it because it was boring.)
Dragonhawk
{XD I'm sorry, Kayko! Don't hurt me... And thank you, Nera! I find that technique is more unique, entertaining, and highly insightful rather than boring... Meh.}
Scowling at Dragonhawk, he was about to say something else when he couldn't help but hear Kayko. Frowning, he attempted to decide whether or not to take her up on the offer of learning the cities name, or simply wandering off to it. He knew its exact position, but he hadn't learned of its name. Though why he hadn't, he honestly couldn't remember why... "Why don't you just see?"
"Dragonhawk, now isn't the time," he murmured under his breath, shaking his head. Why was it that only he could see him? Though he had been briefly convinced he had been going insane, he knew that shouldn't be the fact now. And he didn't suffer from split personalities, so that didn't explain anything. Sighing, he finally settled on not asking and instead continued on his way. He knew that his stalker wouldn't have let him ask, anyway, even if he had wanted to. He'd probably shove him away.
"Take that amulet off, will you?"
"No. I'm not going to take it off until the other Blood Kyn are with me."
"Picky, aren't we?" Moving over to his side, the creature suddenly grabbed at the item and tore at the leather binding it to his wrist. Snarling, he pulled his hand away--only effectively ripping the thing off. It was then he couldn't help but notice that the creature became more... physical, rather than its former ghost-like appearance. His jaw felt slack. "Because of that--?"
"Naw, you think? Glamour doesn't hide just your appearance you know."
Nerameshu
[It's only entertaining in short bursts. Try reading stories made up of it: they'll go in every possible direction. Worst of all, usually no violence... T_T]
Strange second aura changing. Splitting? No, aura hidden within another. Confusion, astonishment... and carefree. Third aura feels superior. Did it know?
Left hand to hilt, right foot forward, flash step- Halt. Stay here. Within twenty yards. Cover behind odd looking tree.
Third aura from new person, materializing from air. Second aura seems more familiar. Watch. Wait. Strategize.
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko felt the unseen being get slightly closer. Finally, it was within scent range. But her thoughts were quickly interrupted when some one, no, something, materialized right next to the man she had been talking to. Not to mention the fact that he was no longer a man, but a huge, hulking, rather handsome, beast. So he hadn't been insane after all. ///Well, what a surprise. Guess I don't need the hood anymore.../// She looked him over. Slender, horned, long ice-blue hair, drooping ears. The other one was obviously a dragon of some sort, though she had never seen one that was completely furred before. Outsiders. Rift travelers, just like her. "Well, no wonder you don't know the city's name. In all my travels, I don't believe I've ever seen beasts like yourselves before." She dismissed the thought with a have of her hand and removed her hood. "Well, as fellow travelers, perhaps we can help each other out?"
[Bwahahahaha! She thinks Yukai is handsome! Fear it! PH3R 33T! x3]
Dragonhawk
{True, that. I had to read one in English 10. 'The Jilting of Grandma Weatherall' ...witherall? Err.
And how DARE she think he is handsome! *Dies laughing* I keep forgetting to give him his silver eyeshadow. Also, you never said whether or not Kayko was human as of the moment, so I'm going to act as though she is in her Fox Demon/normal form?
Dragonhawk talks. A lot. As is now obvious. XD}
"You know, I just realized something Yukai. You don't have eyebrows."
Killjoy. One of these days, he was going to strangle the damned thing. But as of the moment, he found himself momentarily distracted when the woman removed the hood she had been wearing. He could hear Dragonhawk's breath catch as he saw her, perhaps in a mocking manner, which caused Yukai to roll his eyes. Promptly he elbowed him in the chest, having regained himself from the before-shock at its sudden appearance. "One would hope," he replied to her near-statement of aiding each another.
"We're not beasts, thank you!" Dragonhawk suddenly seemed offended. "I'll have you know, woma--"
Again Yukai nudged him, the corner of his mouth turning to a slight frown. The moment everyone could see him, he choose to turn into a rude nutter. ///Wonderful company to have at times like this.///, he thought to himself, nose wrinkling faintly. The wind had turned upwind of them, carrying a scent he found rather disturbing. As he turned in the direction it had come from, it dissipated; the breeze suddenly having shifted downwind and caused the feathers from his wings to rustle. "You wouldn't happen to be heading in the same direction?"
"No, Yukai. She's secretly stalking you so she can slit your throat when you're not looking."
The corner of his lip twitched, the horns that were his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he tried to contain a giggle. For reasons beyond him, he found what he had said disturbingly funny. "Knew that would make you snicker."
Kayko Sagouro
[Don't worry, she is. She always is, unless on Earth. In which case it would be kinda dangerous, non? Also, the town/city thingy is pronounced Share-eez.]
She frowned at the dragon's rude remark. "When I say beast, I mean you no disrespect. I know you aren't a real beast, I simply use the term to describe what manner of...being you are." She crossed her arms and gave him a mocking smile. "If I wanted to call you an animal, I would have." Kayko turned to the blue man. "Yes, I am, in fact. And I'd already be halfway there if it weren't for this..." She scrunched her nose. "Fucking rain. The city you're headed to is called Sheriz, though if you follow this road, it'll take you twice as long to get there than if you cut through the mountains. Which is what I plan on doing. It'll be cold and miserable work, but they'll only take a day or so to cross, and then it's smooth sailing from there." She cocked her head to the side. "But, it's your call. Oh, and I should mention, up the road a little ways, there's a small village inhabited by the most vile little beasties I've ever met. I'm not sure exactly what they are, or why they're there, but I swear, they are the most two-faced little bastards to walk this earth." She perked up and smiled. "But! It's up to you. I don't really want to deal with them, but, you know, whatever man..."
[It's the Blue Man Group! They ATTACK!! AHH!]
Dragonhawk
Normally he would have offered to fly the woman there, but what would be the point? He had no qualms in going in the rain: the water simply slid off the feathers due to special glands. But who was he to know whether or not she was afraid of heights, or that she may just not want to risk it in case there was lightning? Admittedly he would fly above the clouds as his lungs and body had been built for such height, not to mention the cold. Though she was obviously not human, there were just some things that would go against that. "I've dealt with people like that before," he murmured. He spoke of humans and Kyn, though he wouldn't say it aloud. "Guess it is a good thing I wasn't headed that way?" Again he rustled his wings, shaking the water that gathered at the base--near his spine--off.
"Animal!? Have you never heard of the Blood Kyn? Of the Dra--"
"Thought you said you weren't a Draekard."
"I'm not!" He scowled, crossing his arms and pouting. "Meanie." At that, he stuck his tongue out; flicking it briefly like a snake before drawing it back in. "Plus. Why're we waiting here, anyway? Its not like we're going to help her out by flying her there or anything. And, you better not even DARE think of walking with her. She can handle herself. Let her be lonely."
Yukai quirked a brow, glancing to Dragonhawk--which only further unnerved the creature. "Also, you do know, I can't tell WHERE you are looking?"
At that he laughed softly, shaking his head and chewing on his lower lip. "Dammit, Yukai! Don't you dare!"
"I'm not, okay? Farore."
"Two is company, three's a crowd. What is the point of traveling with a woman, anyway? You aren't attracted to their gender."
Again he wanted to slug him--hard. But he calmly restrained himself, staring off into the distance. Of course, to others it may have appeared as though he was either staring at Kayko or... was simply blind.
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko blushed at the last turn in the conversation. She didn't really know why. It didn't really matter that the man, hadn't he been called Yukai?, was gay; she was used to hanging out with K.C. and Lloyd, like that really mattered. She collected herself and spat a reply to the dragon. "Well, if you don't like me and don't want to travel with me, fine. I'll just be on my way. You can find the city and get in yourself!" She gave a small bow to Yukai before quickly looking away. The dragon had a point, his stare -was- highly unnerving.
Dragonhawk
At that, it was Yukai's turn to blush. "Please, don't mind him. And I apologize for my eyes." Eying Dragonhawk, he sighed. "I find it best to ignore him." Turning to the creature, he rested a hand on his shoulder and whispered softly into his ear. "She can help us. Why don't you accept that?"
"One, she is, oh, I don't know. A woman. Though you sometimes are, that doesn't count. Two. She could possibly be a swine or, as I suggested earlier, wanting to stab you in the back. Literally. And even though she says she can help us into the city, who knows if she is telling the truth? What of that?"
At Dragonhawk's statement, he lowered his voice, a slight snarl entering it. "Would you quit worrying about such trivial things and at least give her a chance? I can tell people from good or 'evil' as you seem to keep wanting to stereotype her. And did you ever consider the fact that I can protect myself? I didn't work as an assassin for those years for no reason, nor was I faking being a professional."
Sighing, he shook his head; brushing light blue bangs out of his eyes. He was becoming more of a nuisance than ever. Did he ever learn to trust someone else, or at least give them a chance? Had he been burned so many times that he now refused to accept anyone? His brows furrowed. "Just this once, alright? If she does get me for whatever reason, you can yell 'I told you so' over and over until my bloody ears fall off. Deal?"
Scowling, it shook its head at first, but then finally consented. "I'll tell you so to death."
"Fine, fine." Exhaling slowly, he glanced to Kayko. "If he'll be quiet, would you mind having me travel with you none-the-less? When he begins to act up, I can put the amulet on so as he doesn't annoy you to Limbo and beyond."
Kayko Sagouro
She giggled and forced herself to look back into his eyes. "Really, there's no need to apologize for that, you can't help it." She grinned sheepishly. "And might I suggest a muzzle for that one? It might help him shut up." She crossed her arms and twitched her ears. "But, just for laughs, just -why- are you willing to travel with me when your companion is so...eh..reluctant to be within ten feet of me?" She looked to each of their faces. "You know what? Nevermind." She smiled. "I'm just happy for any sort of social interaction. Heheh.." She rubbed the back of her neck and blushed again. "Anyway! My name is Kayko. I believe I've already gotten your names; Yukai and Dragonhawk, right? Hm. Well, now that I'm thoroughly soaked, I see no point in hanging around until it stops, so," She lifted her hood again. "Let's get a move on, shall we?"
Dragonhawk
Yukai flushed softly, choosing to walk as she did. Dragonhawk, however, seemed to want to continue off her earlier comment of the 'muzzle'. "If he tries to put one on me, I'll rip him to bloody shreds. Of course, that'll effectively kill me off and I personally don't want to fade away." A slight frown crossed the creatures lips when Kayko introduced herself. "No. We're Slash and Thriller. You know. Pulp fiction? Ever heard of it?"
A soft murmur of disdain escaped Yukai at its sarcasm, but he guessed he had to be a given, considering what it... was. "Hey, Kayko?" His gaze was currently directed forward. "This may not seem subtle, but... did you ever catch the scent of something simply not... right?"
Kayko Sagouro
[Yay! Finally on the move!]
She giggled inwardly at Dragonhawk's comments on their 'names', but turned her attention to Yukai. She lowered her voice and nodded, being careful to keep her head down. "I'm afraid so. It would seem that some one, or thing, has been watching us since we first met. Though I can't pinpoint exactly where it is 'cause of the swirling winds, but..." She chanced a glance to him. "Perhaps you know more than I do...?"
Dragonhawk
{Is it just me, or has my RP style suddenly taken on a different form with this post? xD Oh no, run Kayko! I'm going to post a 5-page post like on Underworld: London! Flee for your life! *Shot*
Yay moving! *Cough*}
At her question, he nibbled gently on his lower lip. He tried to keep his manner and actions the same as before, in case the creature went off sight or sense of 'feeling' to figure out what another person was thinking. "Very little, but it has the stench of a killer. Daemon, Demon, Arch Angel, pick or choose. From there, I briefly scented it and thought I could discern its position. However, as with you, the blasted gusts carried it off before I could follow it exactly. I know the general area, but not the exact placement."
Silently he scowled at himself, partially irritated with the fact that he was unable to do more than generally guess. He knew that he was capable of more, and yet because of a single storm... He shook his head. Earlier he had thought of using his true magick to figure it out, but then the thought that it could feel and see magick as a physical object cropped up into his mind--leaving that one out of bounds for the moment. And although it smelled of blood for that brief second, he could also be incorrect with his original conjecture. Perhaps it had just feasted on game of some sort, or came from some battle. Yet he doubted that, for it seemed illogical in and of itself. There would be word if such a thing had gone on near by.
"In a way, this is maddening," he laughed sadly, eying Dragonhawk. "I would ask you to fly and see if you could spot him, but I honestly don't want you to be struck by lightning. Considering you'd have to fly right below the clouds and in the heart of the storm... its too risky." Lifting a hand, the lilac sleeve he wore slid back and revealed slender wrists and powerful hands; long, talon-like nails scratching at his cheek. "Quite a conundrum we have found ourselves in, eh? At least we'll be ready if s/he chooses to surprise us."
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko turned her head slightly to watch him out of the corner of her eye. She snorted. "I don't know. Just how prepared can you be against some one you can't see, don't know where they are, what sort of weapons they might have, or whether or not they're alone? Point being, we know more about each other than we know about them. How do you prepare yourself against that." She popped her neck and sighed. "I just don't know...I suppose we'll just have to keep moving...." She looked at Yukai full on. "What do you think? As much as I loath this area, I don't exactly love the idea of traveling in a storm in the dead of night..."
Dragonhawk
At her reply, he couldn't help but laugh. Dragonhawk looked at him curiously, but was quick to catch on. "You've never worked as an assassin or a mercenary, have you?" He asked her with genuine amusement. Though they knew little about whomever was out there, they did actually know -enough- to still protect themselves. In fact, he saw many angles in which they could get their own in and through, not to mention escape if the time came. Perhaps only those who had worked as he did could see those ends, but how was he to be sure? Shrugging, he flicked one of his ears with a finger and wrapped his tail around his hips; the spines folding so as not cause him harm.
"As I'm sure you've come to notice," Dragonhawk piped in. "We don't mind traveling in this weather, even with how the locals are. Normally we would be flying, but with you in hand..." It snorted. "Whatever. We can stop and stay in that nearby village, town, whatever the hell it is, if you'd feel more comfortable. Though if we did stay out, Yukai has a tendency to... be nocturnal, to say the least. For some reason, he hates the sun and light in general." It smirked and lightly punched him in the arm. "Anyway, it is your choice. No matter which one you pick, he and I are still going to be stuck outside--whether in the rain or on the other side of the hotel door. Maybe in the window sill, possibly the sky if he gets bored."
Rolling his eyes, he shook his head. "You talk too much, you know that?"
"Yes. And I find how you take it in stride none-the-less highly entertaining."
Kayko Sagouro
"Hey, hey, don't get me wrong. I have no qualms with night-travel, I was just thinking of you two! After all," She looked at Yukai then to Dragonhawk. "You're covered in feathers, and you in fur. Last I checked, it's not fun when that gets wet. Eh, whatever suits you though. I supposed we really should get a move on before--" She caught herself. She had almost revealed to whomever was listening that they knew; stupid fox. "Before the weather takes a turn for the worst." She turned and looked over her shoulder. "Right ho, so I'll lead the way?"
Dragonhawk
Yukai smirked. "Thankfully, the rain doesn't disturb my wings. As for him," he glanced to Dragonhawk. "Well, to say the least, he deserves to be soaked." The creature glared at him from underneath hooded eyes, but didn't say anything. It certainly knew that he was right about that, though he didn't want to fuel it. It was enough that he already had Yukai ragging on him at every turn. He didn't need some fox-woman to do the same. Nudging him, he waved to Kayko.
"Though you're leading, what is the deal? Stay at an inn or continue? You haven't exactly answered that little tid-bit."
Briefly looking back the way they had come, he wondered if the creature from before was still following them or not. He was becoming a bit paranoid, mainly due to the fact he didn't like not knowing where something was even though he knew it was there. Call him crazy. "Hrmf.."
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko stifled a small laugh at the thought of Dragonhawk soaked; it was much like an extra-fluffy cat after it's bath. She gave herself a slight shake and composed herself. "Ah, but I did. Just not directly. I have no problems with continuing on. It's not like it can get any worse than it is." She spun on her heal and pointed to the mountains they would soon be crossing in an overly-dramatic gesture. "Onward hove!" She smiled when a cool voice popped into the back of her mind. ///Was that necessary?///
[Sorry if it's repetative or anything, I'm on a tight schedual.]
Dragonhawk
{Naw, no need to apologize. Though I do for my long post? x3}
Yukai stifled a slight 'meep' of shock at her sudden movements, the corner of his eye twitching faintly to show he had been moderately caught off guard. He glanced to Dragonhawk and saw that it was freely snickering rather than diving behind someone or something. Personally, he didn't find that funny, mainly because his laughter was directed at him. "Alright fuzz ball, I get it." Murmuring, he brushed slick bangs from his eyes; rain catching him through his wings every now and then.
"Hey, Kayko." Dragonhawk suddenly spoke, sounding serious for once in his... life? "Might we stay at the inn for a few hours? I have a feeling Yukai there needs to sew himself a new outfit."
"What're you talking about?" He blinked.
Suddenly, the creature tore his pants legs and ripped off his loin cloth; leaving a disturbed Yukai standing there. "What is wrong with you?!"
"See?" It acted as though he did nothing wrong, then suddenly pounced him and tore his sleeves. Then, leaping off, it gave a wild laugh and ducked. "Your reaction time is less and you can't move real easily in that clothing. If you were in that one outfit you wore on your missions, I would have never been able to do that. Leisure clothing isn't good for hard travel!"
Restraining himself, he removed the purple sleeves and gathered the pieces of clothing that had landed on the ground. Glancing to his pants, he couldn't help but notice that Dragonhawk was extremely close to scarring his groin. "Thank you so much," he said tightly. "At least you didn't castrate me."
"Aye, not possible! Remember, they're on the inside--"
This time he did tackle him--but then let him be and stalked over to Kayko; standing a few feet off. "I will not kill my spirit form. I will not kill it." He grumbled.
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko laughed loudly before managing to stifle it. She tried desperately to speak through her mad giggling. "Y-yeah, sure! What-whatever you need!" She tried to look at Yukai seriously, perhaps even comfort him what little she could, but any glances in his direction cause her to double over in a new fit of laughter.
Walking over to the newly-naked man, she offered him her cloak. "Just in case you have any..modesty issues?"
Dragonhawk
He groaned softly at Kayko's laughter, but immediately waved it off. "I don't." Then Dragonhawk decided to add in, "When he lived in the mountains, he always ran around naked anyway. You can only imagine how the humans took it, always thinking he was neutered. Not to mention that he'd randomly switch genders..."
Under his breath, Yukai began another tirade of how he wasn't going to kill the feathered dragon. Did the bastard have to tell him everything? "For your information, Dragonhawk," he snarled its name. "I still have the under clothing. All I need to do is repair the over garments." He quirked a brow. "Oh?" It cut in. "What happened to them? Did you have a nice run in with another male--"
The corner of Yukai's lip twitched as he retrieved the articles from the bag that always followed behind him. As fo the moment, it had a spell of invisibility cast upon it, though he still knew its location. Pulling the outfit on, wings keeping them dry, he also gathered the over wear he would need to repair. "I only need to stitch a few spots, so we can continue walking. Unless, of course, you still wish to wait at the inn." His tone of voice had taken a slightly flat note, and the color of his eyes seemed to be briefly fluctuating. But, he smiled as though nothing was wrong--smacking Dragonhawk in the back of the head when they began walking again.
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko kept her mouth shut during this particular conversation, but the smirk plastered on her thin face showed that she had heard every word. She shook her head and continued to walk. "Why don't we just continue on. Like we planned, non?"
[Bwaha! Epically short!]
Dragonhawk
Dragonhawk grumbled about how Yukai was a spoil-sport, mainly due to the friendly hit he had received. Glancing to the man, he watched as he finished repairing the clothing. But instead of putting it on, he instead stuffed it back into the bag. Then, to shock him further, he took off what he had just put on--doing the same with it as he had done the fixed ones. Blinking and tilting his head, he mouthed, 'what are you doing?' But he only smiled and sighed, inhaling a deep breath and beginning the transformation. "Oh! Making it easier on the woman, huh? How chivalrous of you," he murmured, just within Yukai's hearing.
As he changed, no sound but the faint crack of bone or the stretch of muscle, which then could only be picked up by the strongest of ears--or at least, someone who was purposely listening to them for whatever reason. Though it seemed odd he would opt for this, he honestly felt that Kayko would be better off if she were followed not by a being such as the Blood Kyn--something apparently unknown to this world--but by a Draekard. Of course, he didn't lump himself into that group, so instead he preferred to call himself a furred dragon... that was stuck on all fours. For some reason, he still was unable to obtain an anthro form, which he placed as being Dragonhawk's fault.
It didn't take long, proven by the fact that he was quickly able to catch up with Kayko's moderately fast pace. A slight grin masked his draconic muzzle, but he didn't say or do anything--simply followed like a good, obedient beast. And the anthro, being itself, hopped onto Yukai's back and settled in on the crook of his neck; his wings shielding his fur from getting anymore wet. "Want a free ride, Kayko? Get it while it lasts! Keep you from getting wet, not to mention warm and comfortable. Did you know you have really soft fur, Yukai?" His only answer was a slight growl--perhaps a low grumble.
Kayko Sagouro
[Exactly how big is he again?]
Foolishly, she had allowed herself to become consumed by thought already, so when Dragonhawk had addressed her, she snapped back to attention and looked up blankly. "Hmm? Oh--!" She did a double-take when she saw Yukai's new...form. She scowled and muttered darkely to herself. "I hate it when they do that." She looked up to Dragonhawk. Well, he -did- look comfortable. And dry. She regarded him with a wary smile. "I...guess?" She jumped and landed softly on the beast's back, grasping his soft fur shakily. She chuckled nervously. "Heheh, I've never really done this before, so if I fall off...Heh."
Dragonhawk
{From 23 feet up. xD}
Yukai smiled gently at Kayko's words, easing his own tensed muscles to make the ride more comfortable and smooth for her. Though where she gripped his fur, a spike lay just beneath. They were always there, trailing from the end of his neck down his tail. If you wish to hold on to something more substantial than my fur, just below your hands is a spine that you can grip instead. As for falling off, please, don't worry. We won't allow that to happen. At that he craned his head around and glared at Dragonhawk. Immediately it gave its consent, then lay back down with a sigh.
"May well get comfy, Kayko! If it helps, he has given little children who are more than a little boisterous a ride before, and they've never fallen off. Never came anywhere near close, even after they ran around on his back like the satanic little things they are." It gave a grin then, ivory, fanged teeth bared with the gesture. Thought they didn't fall it off, it hadn't meant Dragonhawk didn't at least try to knock them off. But, of course, Yukai had always prevented it... which was annoying to say the least.
Kayko Sagouro
She gave a nervous look to the furred dragon, accompanied by a equally nervous chuckle. She grasped for the spine under her hands. "Yes, well, I've been told I'm even more clumsy than said children..Sometimes. Wouldn't it beat all if that time was now?" Slowly, she relaxed and allowed her hands to stray from the spine. She began to look around, settling on an envious gaze at the strong wings folded along his back.
Dragonhawk
{Villain shall be added in later!}
Dragonhawk smirked, a sort of devious look briefly flickering across his muzzle. Though he was highly tempted, he knew it would be a rather... horrendous idea to knock the woman off--considering she just got comfortable resting on his back. But how could she be afraid of falling off of him when he was so massive? It just didn't make sense to him. However, he wasn't going to push nor mention it, mainly when he saw her staring at Yukai's wings enviously. "Huh..."
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko felt Dragonhawk's gaze on her and flicked her eyes toward him. Had he noticed the longing she was sure was in her eyes? She quickly busied herself with scanning the profile of the mountains, looking for the narrow chink in their tall peeks that would serve as the pass through them. After a few moments, she spotted it to off to Southeast. "Yukai, the pass is off to the right. In between the two tallest peaks. That's the way that usually guarantees safe passage...Usually."

Dragonhawk
{If this makes little sense, my pain medication is doing its job. x3}
Yukai bowed his head and changed his current trajectory. On his back, Dragonhawk piqued up with a question. "What do you mean by 'usually safe'? Such as, what would whoever they are attack, not be willing to mess with, etc.? I personally don't want to have come all of this way and suddenly find my head detached from my shoulders. Neither do you or Yukai, I'm sure. But it would be rather nice to know what we're looking out for?" It certainly had a way of putting things. Though he couldn't help but snort at his query, a bemused smirk crossing his draconic muzzle. He doubted they'd be willing to take on something as large as him, unless they were overly cocky or had a beast tamed that could easily take him down. Which, for both, he honestly doubted.
Kayko Sagouro
[Welcome to STRICT RPing! =D
Alrighty then. Did neither of you read the rules? NO FRIGGIN' NET/LEET SPEAK!! Friggin'.. And no, not even in OOC talk. At least, not here. I don't give a shit what you say or how you say it elsewhere, but it is NOT allowed here. Ever!
Okay TLDR IS NOT COOL! If you don't want to read it, you won't understand fully what's going on, your posts will be lacking, and I will hate you forever for destroying my RP with your shitty posts. That and you need to read the rules. If you don't, YOU CAN'T JOIN. No exceptions. PM a summary of what's going on so far. I know it sounds rough, but... I don't like bad RPers.
One last thing, could you people post a link of what they look like? Just edit your existing ones and put it in. Don't make a new post for it please! Also, if you start posting, DON'T JUST RANDOMLY STOP! If you make a post interacting with someone, please try to continue posting until you're done interacting. If you leave for a long time, your post will be deleted, and we will all pretend that it never happened.
Be smart and have fun!]
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko looked at Dragonhawk with slight surprise on her features. "Oh, it's not people you have to worry about! It's more of a... Nature issue. Since it's not an actual route recognized by any sort of... Travel organization or whatever, there's no upkeep. There's rock slides and cave-ins and all sorts of fun stuff in there!" She mock-smiled. "But, in all seriousness, it's not a fun place. Keep your eyes open and all hands and feet to yourself." She leaned back and sighed. "But...I guess it's easier than going over them..."
Sejimaru
(holy cow! my bad man, and i did read the rules, i read them fully, just didn't know i couldn't use the letters for words even in ooc O.O
ps. no cussing!.....ok sorry u can cuss i don't really care just felt like saying something a admin might say...even thought it is a little off setting)
Kayko Sagouro
[When I said no net speak, I meant NO net speak. Cause, and if you laugh I'll hurt you, I don't understand half of it. I had to look up what tldr stood for... It wasn't pretty. Also, if you did read the rules, then perhaps that wasn't pointed towards you directly, and at Shadow instead. After all, I am talking to the two of you... I would still feel better though, if you did read the RP so far. It may seem kinda slow, but it will help you get a better understanding of their motives, I guess? Either way... I take back what I said about the summary, I was hyped up on lack of sleep and chicken, and had gone into Uber-Admin Mode...]
Shadow
{Sorry about that.....I was in a hurry because I was at the library. I don't have my own computer (thats why I have to go to the library) and I DID read the rules!
Ok I'll admit it I'm a NEWB to roleplaying so.....yea I'll do my best. I have been reading the posts.......
Anyway, yea I'm kinda forced into random stoppings because i can't go to the library every day. But i do come back! Ask Neremeshu. }
Blood. It was everywhere. It covered the floor of the cave that sheltered two people from the storm outside. Bartimaeus lay unconcious in the midst of the blood. Luna sat against the wall, smoking a cigarette. "I wish the storm would end......then I could get him out of here. But how do I heal him?" Luna puffed on her cigarette and shrugged. "Oh well."
Dragonhawk
Dragonhawk snorted, more in disdain than surprise. So they had to protect themselves from natural occurrences and pray that Yukai didn't somehow manage to start anything with his rather large size. At least he wasn't at his full height. They would definitely be in some serious trouble then. "Hm. Personally we would have preferred going over it. But since I can't go as high as Yukai can, and we think you'd both freeze and suffocate at the height he'd need..." It smirked and leaned back against Yukai's flank, crossing a leg over its knee and tapping its foot at a slow rhythm inside its head. "Naw, we wouldn't consider it. You're the first gal ever been nice to us, so why try and bring harm to you anyway?"
Kayko Sagouro
Kayko flushed at his comment. ///Great, I've made friends...Ah well, could be worse.../// She looked out over the wet plains. "Well, it could be worse. It could be snowing..." She looked back at Dragonhawk. "If it were, there would be as much as ten feet in some places. But no," She chuckled to herself. "It's summer right now!" She shivered as a stray wind made it past Yukai's wings and blew under her hood. ///What a dismal place. I can't wait to leave...///
Dragonhawk
Stretching, Dragonhawk murmured softly in reply to her comment. Ten feet snow wouldn't be that bad. Well, aside from Yukai half freezing and only being able to warm them enough and not himself. Though that would be kind of amusing... Shaking its head, it glanced to Kayko when she said that it was actually summer rather than winter. Good thing she knew the weather. Waving a paw to show it had heard her second comment, Dragonhawk rested its chin against its chest and promptly fell asleep.
"Seems he has become bored," Yukai chuckled, shaking his mane and letting off stray debris that had fallen into it. "How long, do you think, until we are out of this forsaken place?" Aside from the general death-vibe it obviously gave off, something else put him ill at ease, proven by the shiver that would travel through his body every now and then. Of course, it was more than likely just his over-active imagination.
Kayko Sagouro
She sighed at Dragonhawk's apparent lack of interest and instead turned her attention to Yukai's question. "Well.." Already, they were approaching the foothills. "We'll be well into the pass by sunrise, I can tell you that. But it'll still take a while to get through. Though, we are going faster than I had expected." ///Much faster.../// "Depending on whether or not we stop, get held up, or crushed, we could be out of here by sundown tomorrow." She laid down on her back and giggled. "Sunny days, here I come."
Dragonhawk
Yukai smirked, ivory fangs bared as his lips drew back. "Just so you know, though I'm sure you've already noticed, he can be an excruciatingly rude bastard. I suggest you don't mind him most of the time, lest you only find yourself annoyed further." Grimacing at that last, he certainly knew how Dragonhawk could be at the worst of times. But he did admit that he had become attached to it, whether or not he had wanted to in the first place. Though he was still quite curious as to why it followed him around and not anyone else. "I see. Well then, the best of luck to us, yes? If there does happen to be a sort of problem or cave in, at least you'll get out safe enough." He hoped she understood what he meant. She was smaller than he was, and it took him a while to change back into a more normal form. So she would be quicker on her feet and more easily able to dodge any falling boulders. And if it happened to come too close, he would be able to make sure it didn't catch her by using his massive size.
Shadow
Luna yawned. She got up and examined Bartimaeus's body. Hmmm, the wounds are gone already......I geuss it's true after all. Bartimaeus's body began to convusle, and blue sparks ran over his body. Luna backed away, knowing what would come next. Bartimaeus became still. His eyes opened. "Are you awake yet?" Luna asked.[/i]
Shadow
Bartimaeus got up, holding his head in his hands. "What happened?" He asked. Luna shrugged. "Ah, nothing. We just got ambushed by a bunch of losers." Bartimaeus looked at her strangely. "What?" Luna said, "It's not my fault you suck at fighting. Besides, I wanted to see if you really couldn't die." Luna smiled. Bartimaeus scowled. "My.....condition is not something for you to conduct experiments on. What if I had transformed, Luna?" Luna shrugged again, still smiling. "Then I would have had a real challenge for once. Look, lets get to a town and get cleaned up." Bartimaeus sighed. "You just want to get a bar, don't you?" He accused. Luna gave him a huge smile. "Yup!"
